My Kids first step to being a Rock God,
For the price, you get a great deal. I am a semi-pro guitarist and thought I’d let my 7 year old taste the dream of being a rock’n'roll star by giving him this for Christmas.
The guitar feels nice and solid, good action, stays in tune (subject to the amount of abuse you give it) and I could twiddle around on it no problem despite it being a 3/4 size.
The amp is small, but has an Overdrive option on it, and when set correctly you can get a nice crunchy sound out of it, which isn’t so loud as to totally upset my boys Mum.
He loves it, and he can’t play anything yet…
It didn’t come with plectrums or a spare set of strings, I’m not complaining, just warning you to get them as well if you buy it.
Very happy with this, as at this price is is well worth the money.

|Not a proper 3/4 size,
Perfectly good guitar as far as it goes — but be aware that it is only the body that is 3/4 size – the neck is full length. A proper 3/4 guitar should be 33 inches in length and this is 37 inches. I bought it for my 6 year old and it is much too long for him (it is also too long to fit in a 3/4 size guitar bag, although that’s less important) — he has no problem when using the 3/4 size electric guitar at his teacher’s. So this has been a total waste of money for me as I am having to buy another guitar.

|MINI amp!,
This arrived swiftly and in perfect condition. To be totally fair I haven’t played it yet, it’s a christmas present for my son. Just to let others buyers know the amp is TINY, no bigger than a packet of sugar. Not what I was expecting.

|Amazing value for money!,
Bought this for my 8 year old son for Christmas, and couldn’t believe the quality and variety of the components you get for your money. When it arrived I seriously considered keeping it for myself, so I think it is inevitable that I will be purchasing myself another….maybe in black though, just to be a bit different! In short, I now have a keen trainee junior axeman in the family, and I’m the coolest Dad ever!!

The guitar is fantastic. I ordered mine here on amazon from JHS and it came fine, a little bit dirty but nothing significantly wrong with it. The volume and tone controlls don’t actually say which is which but that won’t be hard to work out. The tuner’s fine, strings are easy to fret and the accessories work well. The amp isn’t the best but it does the job for practising at home so for the price the package is unbelievable! The guitar looks better in real life than on the pictures. It’s ideal for a beginner.

I ordered this Guitar and it was dispatched within the week, I was surprised to find that it arrived within just one day of dispatch day. I was very happy with this delivery speed. As far as the Guitar, it’s pretty good value for money and I can’t complain. Recommended for a first Guitar user; looking for a cheap Instrument just for practicing.
